Potomac Photonics has developed innovative Laser Marking technology for the Medical Device (traceability and tracking), Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Aircraft and Packaging Industries. With the capability to machine high precision features on both flat or 3D surfaces, Potomac can mark features large enough to be seen by the human eye all the way down to 1 micron (almost invisible). Applications for Laser Marking include Serial Numbers, Logos, Standard Barcodes, 2D Data Matrix Barcodes and Fiducial Marks. Potomac can Laser Mark virtually any material such as plastics, glass, metals, diamonds, in both prototyping and production quantities. Lead-times as fast as 24-48 hours can be realized for certain Laser Marking applications. Once volumes reach a high level, Potomac can dedicate systems and resources for production manufacturing.
