This proprietary technology gives Potomac’s clients the ability to develop their medical devices (stents, ophthalmic, etc), semiconductor (low to high aspect ratio channels for cooling devices) and biotech (microfluidics) quickly and cost effectively. Metals such as Stainless Steel, Copper, Aluminum, Nickel-Titanium and Platinum Iridium can be machined in flat sheet and tubing configurations with minimal or no recast/burr. In addition, Potomac has developed several secondary cleaning and polishing processes to further improve the edge quality. Once a project moves to high volume, Potomac’s multi-beam system technology is utilized to provide high speed fabrication and quick turnarounds.
Potomac Photonics is ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485 certified. All work is carefully inspected and certificates of conformance are included with all finished products. Please Email [email protected] or call (301)459-3031 for more information.
