Laser Micromachining for Biotech: Custom laser cut windows in glass coverslips for the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. These parts will be used to visualize the changes epithelium mucin secretion under a microscope. Potomac Photonics has a broad range of micro manufacturing tools that are capable of machining features as small as 1 micron. This work was partly funded by the Potomac Education Manufacturing Intuitive which provides low cost services to research institutions and universities.
