Chief Executive Officer, President

Dr. Beer is responsible for developing and implementing Potomac's strategic direction. He co-led the management buyout of the Company (together with Lawrence O'Donnell) in 2000, and has managed the Company through profitable years since the buyout. Prior to joining Potomac, he started, turned around and/or managed ten companies including technology units of Ogden Corporation and Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL). From 1977 to 1982, he was a Vice President with Booz, Allen and Hamilton and from 1967 to 1968, he was the first Environmental Director of an electric utility, Commonwealth Edison Company (now NYSE: EXC). He has a PhD in Geological Engineering (with a Civil Engineering Minor) from the University of Utah, and degrees in Geology from the University of Massachusetts (MS) and Bates College (BS). He has lectured at the Wharton Business School, the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce; Bates College and George Mason University. He has published articles and written chapters of books on both technical and business subjects.

Chief Operating Officer

A ten year veteran of the Company, Mr. Adelstein has been instrumental in positioning Potomac for growth in technology, prototyping and contract manufacturing. He initiated and managed the transition of Potomac from a research and development and laser systems company into becoming an outsourcing (Precision Contract Manufacturing) leader in laser micro-fabrication. He has implemented innovative manufacturing technologies and initiated the Company's movement toward the ISO9001:2000 and 13485 quality designations. In addition, since 2001 he has managed the Company's sales and marketing division. During this period he successfully entered partnerships with leading medical, biotech and automotive companies that have resulted in long-term production contracts for products such as DNA micro-arrays, glucose sensors and computer cooling devices. Prior to joining Potomac in 1997 he spent time at the National Institutes of Health and two years at Haven Corporation, a chemical adhesives company, leaving as a Chemist. He graduated from the University of Maryland with an MS in Technology Management and a BS degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology.

Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Doudoumopoulos is responsible for developing advanced manufacturing technologies and proprietary products like ChipID. This includes all laser-based manufacturing processes and products as well as the development and maintenance of Potomac's laser-based manufacturing lines. Additionally, he oversees Potomac's intellectual property portfolio and licensing. Prior to joining Potomac, he was President and co-founder of Photobit, a leading CMOS imaging chip development company which grew from a venture-financed start-up in 1996 to $26 million of revenue in 2000. As Photobit's President, he guided new business development, product definition, and strategic marketing. Micron Technology, Inc. (NYSE: MU) acquired Photobit in 2001. Prior to Photobit, Nick worked at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), where he led CMOS readout and focal plane array (FPA) development for infrared imagers. Nick spent the first ten years of his career in a variety of positions throughout Hughes Aircraft working in the area of semiconductor design, manufacture, and test. Nick has published and presented numerous papers in the semiconductor field and holds a number of related patents. He graduated with MS and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and graduated with a BA degree in Physics from Alfred University.

Controller

Ms. Ford is a ten year veteran of the Company and has been instrumental in the success of Potomac. In addition to serving as the Company's Controller, she is responsible for human resources and administration. She acts in the capacity of expeditor of Potomac's three (3) largest client assignments. Prior to joining Potomac in 1996 she worked for three years at the National Association of Manufacturers assisting the President of Small Manufacturers Forum, an organization which serves the needs of 40 Small Manufacturing Board members. She is currently completing her degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland.
